Location - The Region

The region of Aquitaine lies in south-west France and is divided into five Departments; the Dordogne, Gironde, Landes Lot-et-Garonne and the Pyrenees-Atlantiques.  Carlucet is ideally located for discovering the wonderful Dordogne & Vézère valleys of the Périgord Noir, their chateaux, and its famous capital Sarlat.

How to Get Here

Carlucet can easily be accessed by car from the motorway network (autoroute), namely the A20 (north-south) and A89 (east-west).  The nearest airports are Bergerac, Brive, Bordeaux and Toulouse.  Several low-cost airlines (e.g. Ryanair and Bmibaby) are now offering flights from the UK to SW France.
