Gîte - Description

The gîte is a charming former tobacco barn that has recently been converted to create quality self-catering holiday accommodation, which is ideal for couples.  The open-plan mezzanine makes this property unsuitable for children.

This accommodation is located within the grounds of the old manor house, next to the owner's holiday home, both with their own private entrances.  The manor dates back to the 16th century and has a lauze (stone) roof, fortified walls, bread oven and ancient vaulted wine cellar.  The adjoining gîte is ideal for your next holiday in France:

  • Excellent base for discovering the Dordogne and Vézère valleys;

  • Swimming and canoeing at the Dordogne River;

  • All basic services very close-by for easy access and convenience;

The gîte retains many original features (e.g. exposed stone walls and beams) and historic charm.  Of course, all the modern comforts of home are also included, even an ADSL internet connection.

Accommodation is on two floors, with landing, two bedrooms and bathroom (wash basin, shower & toilet) on the first floor.  The ground floor is open-plan comprising kitchen, diner and lounge spaces.   The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, coffee maker, electric oven and gas hob.
