Carlucet & Salignac

Hamlet of Carlucet

It is a small hamlet of traditional Périgordine properties centred around the old church, which is a classified national monument that has recently been restored.  In Carlucet there is a friendly auberge (restaurant & bar) offering lunchtime and evening meals based around locally produced gastronomic specialties.

The hamlet is very tranquil and relaxing and offers signposted walking and cycling routes.

Village of Salignac - Eyvigues

A short distance from Carlucet (i.e. 2 minutes by car) is the village of Salignac that offers all essential services (e.g. supermarket, fuel station, tourist office, garage, bank, chemist, bakery, butcher, bars and restaurants).  There is also a 13th century chateau in the town that is open to visitors.
