The surrounding area is ideal for a holiday at any time of the year and comprises:

• Excellent base for discovering the Dordogne and Vézère valleys.

• Swimming and canoeing at the Dordogne River.

• All basic services very close-by for easy access and convenience.

• Relaxing rural location in a historic setting.

• The gite retains many original features (e.g. exposed stone walls and beams) and historic charm. Of course, all the modern comforts of home are also here, including British TV, wi-fi and air-conditioning.

• Accommodation is on two floors, with landing, two bedrooms (1 large bed and 2 twin beds) and bathroom (wash basin, shower & toilet) on the first floor. The ground floor is open-plan comprising kitchen, diner and lounge spaces.   The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, electric oven and gas hob.

• There is air-conditioning on the ground floors and in both bedrooms.

Set in the middle of a forest is a stunning golf club just a short 20 minute drive from the gite. With its undulating fairways and challenging greens, the course is considered to be one to the best in the South-West of France. As the owner of the gite is a keen golfer and a member of the club, she can help to reserve a tee time and also organise individual or group golf lessons with the permanent golf professional Romain Caro.
